The Mediterranean is the sea of proximity. The term \u201cWhite Sea\u201d is a metaphor deriving from Arabic meaning the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"428\" height=\"285\" src=\"https:\/\/ycbs.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/lcbklein-79d.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-359\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ycbs.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/lcbklein-79d.jpg 428w, https:\/\/ycbs.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/lcbklein-79d-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ycbs.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/lcbklein-79d-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 428px) 100vw, 428px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The project &#8220;Das Wei\u00dfe Meer-Literaturen rund um&#8217;s Mittelmeer&#8221; is supported by the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kulturstiftung.allianz.de\/projekte\/literatur\/das_weisse_Meer\/index.html\">Allianz Cultural Foundation<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LCB is an event forum, guest house, workplace and talent factory for authors and interpreters located in a villa at the outskirts of Berlin named das Haus am Wannsee (in English the House at the Wannsee Lake).&nbsp;&nbsp;The Ford Foundation and the Berlin Senate support the rich cultural program of the LCB.
