Raffa speaks Polish and Portuguese, his parents met 30 years ago in Moscow where they studied Art. After eight years in Warshaw, the family moved to Setubal, the home town of his mother.

French-German project
The reason of our research in the city of Plovdiv, located in the Region of Trakia was to learn about the situation of the local Roma minority. For better understanding of the cultural context, we met representatives of different communities and ethnic groups. We also left Plovdiv and went to the town of Rakovski, where most of the inhabitants are Catholic Christians while the majority group in Bulgaria are Orthodox Christians. The pictures of the Roma communities in Plovdiv and Rakovski are from the cultural and social aspect very different. You can learn more about it in our broadcast.
European courses on Media. Berlin-Sofia

YCBS is happy to announce that we will contribute to preparation and conduction of the project “Media applicability in Kindergarten” taking place in Berlin.The course titled “Teachers’ Tools and Methods on Digital Media” will take place in Berlin and it will be focused on ways of integrating media approach into school syllabus. The participants will acquire editorial and technical skills applicable for multiple media.

An exchange about radio, women rights and culture
YCBS was happy to host Haya from the organization Beit Satur as our guest. Haya lives in Bethelem, Palestine and stayed with us for one month. The first day after her arrival, she visited our studio together with Caroline, a student and producer of YCBS. Caroline also hosted Haya at her home and she will visit her in Palestine in the second stage of the exchange.
